‘This place has touched me, this memory will record me, you will shape me.’

Wolstenholme Creative Space (WCS) presents two exhibitions that explore the gallery as a building, as a provocation, as a creative space in response to Liverpool Biennial 2010, Touched.

Henrietta Simson will be participating in ‘WITH THESE WALLS WE ARE SHAPED’, Wolstenholme Creative Space’s second Biennial installament. 14 local, national and international artists have been selected by open submission to create site-specific work within the gallery’s crumbling walls encapsulating the title ‘WITH THESE WALLS WE ARE SHAPED’ (28 October – 28 November 2010).
Resulting in works that are touched by both the walls of the places and environments we inhabit, as well as the walls and structures we create within our awareness in relation to others, feelings and communication.
